Depression & God's Deeper Grace

The Bible is the story that points to God’s forever victory over sin through His Son Jesus. So why would the Bible dedicate more than one-third of the Book of Psalms to lament? Because depression should be expected in the life of a believer. Depression isn't the result of weak faith, it's the result of living in a sinful world; in a body that has been broken by sin.
Psalm 77 sets a model for us in how we can go to God in seasons of lament, despair, and sorrow; from looking inward to self, to looking toward God, remembering and declaring who He is.
